The S&P TD-500/150-160 SILENT T 3V is an ultra-quiet inline mixed-flow fan designed for ventilation systems where strong airflow and low operating noise are required. It is suitable for residential, commercial and light-industrial ducted applications, including offices, shops, changing rooms and other occupied spaces.
The fan combines the airflow characteristics of an axial fan with the pressure performance of a centrifugal fan, allowing it to move air effectively through longer or more restrictive duct runs. Three operating speeds provide airflow rates of up to 560m³/h, allowing the ventilation performance to be matched to the requirements of the installation.
An integrated adjustable run-on timer allows the fan to continue operating for between 1 and 30 minutes after the controlling switch has been turned off. On this three-speed model, timed operation is available at the high-speed setting.
The casing incorporates sound-absorbing insulation and a specially designed perforated internal lining, which directs sound waves towards the acoustic material to reduce radiated noise. Flexible rubber seals at the inlet and outlet also help absorb vibration and create an airtight connection with the ducting.
The fan body and motor assembly can be removed from the mounting bracket without disturbing the connected ductwork, simplifying inspection, cleaning and maintenance. The terminal box can also be rotated through 360 degrees to support convenient electrical connection.
