Product Overview
The Quiet-Vent Fire-Rated Metal Air Extract Valve is designed for use as an extract terminal in mechanical ventilation systems where the integrity of a fire-rated ceiling must be maintained.
An integral intumescent gasket expands when exposed to fire, helping to seal the opening created by the air valve and restrict the spread of fire through the ceiling penetration. The adjustable central disc allows the extract airflow to be regulated during system commissioning and balancing.
Manufactured from epoxy-coated steel with a white RAL 9016 finish, the valve provides a durable and discreet appearance. It is available in 100mm, 125mm and 150mm connection sizes.
