Insulation & Condensation Prevention
To prevent condensation in colder areas (e.g., loft spaces), ensure insulation with 25mm thick material (thermal conductivity of 0.04W/m·K or lower).
- Insulated ducting is also necessary for intake and exhaust legs, especially when carrying cold air in warmer environments.
- Use 25mm rockwool duct wrap with a silver foil face for optimal insulation.
- Bubble wrap insulation is no longer compliant with building control regulations.
