The Verplas SST-160-2M-IND Rapid Self-Seal Thermal Duct is a high-capacity, pre-insulated ventilation duct designed for efficient airflow and rapid installation. With a 160mm diameter and 2m length, it is ideal for larger domestic and light commercial ventilation systems, including MVHR and MEV applications.
Manufactured from graphite-impregnated expanded polystyrene (EPS), the duct offers excellent thermal insulation, helping to minimise heat loss and prevent condensation. Its patented push-fit “click and lock” sealing system ensures a secure, low-leakage connection that exceeds industry standards while significantly reducing installation time.
Supplied with an integrated duct-to-duct connector, the SST-160-2M-IND allows quick connection between duct lengths. The open end enables direct push-fit installation onto 160mm fan spigots, or 150mm spigots when used with a compatible adapter. Lightweight yet durable, this system provides a practical and high-performance ducting solution.
