Product Overview
The Quiet-Vent Fire-Rated Metal Air Supply Valve is designed to deliver fresh air into bedrooms, living rooms, offices and other habitable spaces while helping maintain the fire resistance of the ceiling construction. Its clean white RAL 9016 finish provides a discreet appearance for use with MVHR and other mechanical supply ventilation systems.
An integral intumescent component expands when exposed to fire, helping to seal the ceiling penetration and restrict the spread of fire and heat. The adjustable centre disc allows the supply airflow to be regulated during commissioning, while the locking nut retains the selected setting. Each valve is supplied with a fixing body for connection to compatible circular ducting. When correctly installed within a suitable tested ceiling construction, the valve can provide up to 60 minutes of fire protection.
