Description
The S&P TD-160/100 NT SILENT In-Line Fan is a compact mixed-flow duct fan designed for use with 100mm circular ducting. Delivering an airflow of up to 180m³/h (50l/s), it provides effective ventilation while operating at a low sound pressure level of just 24dB(A) at three metres.
Designed for installations where noise and available space are important considerations, the fan uses S&P’s floating motor system. The motor is mounted on silent elastic blocks that help absorb vibration and reduce the transfer of operational noise through the fan casing and adjoining ductwork.
An integrated adjustable run-on timer allows the fan to continue operating for between 1 and 30 minutes after the connected switch has been turned off. This helps clear remaining moisture, odours and stale air from the ventilated area. The timer model operates at a single speed and is not suitable for use with an external speed controller.
Its compact construction makes the fan suitable for ceiling voids and other confined installation areas. The Class B motor includes ball bearings and thermal overload protection, while the fan is rated to IP44 for electrical protection.
